Higher years.

In years 4, 5 and 6 all subjects (excepting English) are taught in Dutch. This is unavoidable because ultimately the students will have to sit the Dutch exams.
Of course it would be a pity if nothing were done to maintain the high level of English acquired in the first three years. That’s why students can opt for the possibility to sit the IBO exams in addition to the Dutch exams. The abbreviation IBO stands for International Baccalaureate Organization. The 5H-students take the IBO-exam English B Higher Level, the 6V-students take the IBO-exam English A; they can choose between Standard Level and Higher Level.
