Student Care and Counselling
Students who travel the world and change schools at regular intervals need our special attention. Each pupil will have a mentor teacher and a small group of student buddies from the bilingual department. New students will be given a scrapbook, which they can fill with memorable things. They will be properly introduced and asked to talk about their background. They will be encouraged to keep in touch with their former or future school. The student and their parents can contact the mentor teacher as their first line contact. The mentor keeps record of the progress of the student in a digital portfolio which will be sent to the next school when the student leaves. The school has expertise to help student with dyslexia, or other learning problems. Students with ADHD or PDDnos will be tutored by a specially trained teacher.
In case students do not have enough English or Dutch, remedial courses will be available.
